Term Two-Week 5
Hi Everyone!
Well done at learning your recorder music. You were great at assembly. We are going to add a few more notes over the next fortnight and hope to perform again in a few weeks.

Remember to continue to learn your basic facts, times tables, spelling and to read 15 minutes every night.

We will continue to explore and observe during science experiments.
SRA reading is progressing well with increasing comprehension and language skills.

It is lovely to hear about all your out of school activities-remember Spirit of Clyde !

Term 2 Week 3

Hi Everyone

What a great week we had with our visitors and their musical instruments. We loved listening to the piano and the guitars. Thank you for organising this Vanessa and Emma. We had 2 great musical afternoons-it was interesting that most of our class had not seen inside a piano and watched how the felt hammers hit the wires to make sound.

Now we are on to learning the recorder. If you have one please bring it to school, if you can buy one please do so, and there are 5 at school which can be used but will need to be disinfected after each day. So , if you want your own-and then you can practise at home-please bring your own to school. Remember to ask siblings and relatives-it is amazing what they have in their cupboards. They may be able to lend you one.
We are learning to read music and play several tunes.

Homework continues to be Reading-15mins, Maths mate-due at the end of the week, and spelling every night.

Have a good week
